Vivo is preparing to expand its V-series lineup with the Vivo V70 Elite, a new mid-range smartphone that puts a strong emphasis on portrait photography and video. According to the latest leaks, the phone will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8400 chipset, positioning it as a performance-oriented option below Vivo’s flagship X-series.
One of the key highlights of the V70 Elite is its upgraded Aura Light system, which Vivo is reportedly tuning specifically for portrait video recording. The enhanced ring light is said to deliver more natural skin tones and better subject separation in low-light videos, an area where Vivo’s V-series has traditionally focused.
The device is expected to feature an AMOLED display with a high refresh rate, along with a sleek, premium-leaning design typical of the Elite branding. While full camera specifications haven’t been revealed yet, the phone is tipped to carry a 50MP main camera, supported by Vivo’s image processing and video stabilization features.
