The upcoming vivo S50 series is expected to launch in December 2025, according to reliable tipster DCS on Weibo. The lineup will include the vivo S50 and S50 Pro Mini, succeeding the S30 series. Both models are said to bring refreshed designs, improved displays, and upgraded chipsets.
The vivo S50 Pro Mini is rumored to feature a 6.31-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, making it a compact yet powerful device. The standard vivo S50 might come with a 6.59-inch OLED display and use the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor.
Camera-wise, both phones are expected to include a periscope telephoto lens and a 50MP front camera for selfies. The S50 series will likely continue vivo’s focus on design, featuring a metal frame and a sleek, premium finish. Fast charging up to 90W is also expected, with batteries likely around 4,500–5,000 mAh.
While the series will debut in China first, global availability hasn’t been confirmed yet. If leaks are accurate, the vivo S50 series will bring a strong mix of style, performance, and photography features to the mid-premium smartphone market.
