Verizon Value Brands Launch New Post-Holiday Deals

Verizon Value Brands Launch New Post-Holiday Deals

Verizon’s prepaid and value-focused brands Total Wireless, Visible, and Straight Talk have rolled out a fresh wave of aggressive deals and promotions in early January 2026, aimed at curbing post-holiday churn and attracting budget-conscious customers with premium-like value and 5G connectivity.

Total Wireless Promotions

Total Wireless is leading the charge with some of the most compelling discounts and multi-device offers. Starting the week of January 8, customers can take advantage of online and in-store promos that significantly reduce the cost of devices when pairing them with its service plans:

  • Huge device discounts online:
    • An iPhone 13 is available for $49.99 when customers port in their number and sign up for a three-month Total 5G+ Unlimited plan.
    • The Samsung Galaxy A36 5G is effectively free under similar port-in conditions.
  • Retail partner deals:
    • Target shoppers can pick up the iPhone 13 with $200 in service credits over 21 months, making it essentially free.
    • Walmart locations are offering 5G devices like the Samsung A16 and A17 for under $40 without requiring a port-in or identity verification.
  • Family plans: Total Wireless introduced a “Pick 4” family deal where households can choose four free 5G phones (including Moto G Power and Samsung A16) for just $25 per line per month on qualifying plans.

These offers are designed to lower the barrier to entry for both new customers and those considering switching carriers, blending budget pricing with 5G device access.

Visible’s Digital-First Promotions

Visible, Verizon’s app-centric prepaid brand, is pushing its “SWITCH26” campaign to appeal to switchers and value seekers:

  • Visible is offering tiered monthly discounts of up to $12 off premium plans for 26 months, providing sustained savings over a long period.
  • Visible has partnered with Back Market, a major refurbished technology marketplace. Customers who bring a refurbished device from Back Market to Visible can save up to $432 over three years on wireless service.

These tactics lean into both deep plan discounts and a circular economy trend, rewarding customers who opt for refurbished hardware while still getting Verizon’s extensive 5G network access.

Straight Talk Simple 5G Upgrade Deals

Straight Talk is also getting into the post-holiday value push by simplifying access to 5G devices:

  • Customers who activate a Silver Unlimited plan or higher can receive devices like the Moto G Stylus 5G and the Samsung A16 5G for free.
  • These offers are available both in stores and online, targeting users who want to upgrade to 5G hardware without paying typical upfront flagship prices.

This approach focuses on making newer devices more accessible to prepaid customers without long-term contracts, continuing Verizon’s trend of premium tech at affordable pricing through its value brands.
