This Year You Might See A Improved Siri

Apple is finally preparing to show the world a much smarter version of Siri, according to a new report from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. After years of promises and delays, the company is reportedly ready to kick off a two-step rollout that starts with an early preview in February and ends with a fully reimagined Siri experience launching later in 2026.

February demo: Siri finally does what Apple promised

Gurman says Apple is planning a major AI demonstration in the second half of February, where it will preview the long-awaited Siri upgrades. This won’t be a full public launch, but rather a focused briefing or small event showing how Siri is evolving under Apple’s expanding Apple Intelligence strategy.

For the first time, Siri is expected to demonstrate on-screen awareness, meaning it can understand what’s currently displayed on your iPhone and help complete tasks based on that context. This feature has been teased before, but February should mark the first real-world demo of it actually working.

These improvements are powered by Apple’s reported partnership with Google’s Gemini, which will provide the underlying intelligence for Siri’s new capabilities while Apple keeps control over privacy and system integration.
