Tecno Pova Curve 2 Official Specs and Features Leak Ahead of Launch

Tecno Pova Curve 2 Official Specs

Tecno is gearing up to unveil the Pova Curve 2, the successor to last year’s popular Pova Curve series, with fresh leaks outlining its design, hardware, and key specs ahead of an expected launch in early 2026. Several reliable sources reveal that the phone will bring upgrades in display quality, battery capacity, and overall performance compared with its predecessor.

At the front, the Pova Curve 2 is said to sport a **6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution (about 1224 × 2720 pixels), along with strong peak brightness (around 1300 nits) and Corning Gorilla Glass protection for added durability and outdoor visibility.

Under the hood, the phone is expected to run Android 16 with HiOS-based software and be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset paired with up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of UFS internal storage.

Photography hardware includes a 50 MP primary rear camera accompanied by an auxiliary 2 MP sensor, capable of recording 4K video at 30 fps. For selfies and video chats, the device reportedly features a 13 MP front camera, which also supports 4K video capture.

One of the standout features of the Pova Curve 2 is its massive 8,000 mAh battery, which should deliver extended usage especially for gaming, streaming, and multitasking with 45 W wired fast charging to keep downtime low.

Connectivity and additional features are shaping up well for a mid-range 5G device, with Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS, an infrared port, and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The phone also carries an in-display optical fingerprint sensor and an IP64 dust/water resistance rating.

Design teasers show a sleek curved body with a matte finish and a triangular camera island on the back, along with multiple color options. According to redditor sightings, the Indian launch is expected on February 13, positioning the Pova Curve 2 as a strong contender in the budget-midrange 5G category.
