T-Mobile has launched a new free line promotion for select subscribers, bringing back one of its most talked-about offers of the year. The targeted deal often referred to as a “Line On Us”-style promo lets eligible customers add an extra wireless line for free with qualifying service on their account.
According to reports, the offer is currently rolling out to a limited group of existing customers, who are seeing the promotion appear within the T-Life app or via SMS notification. To qualify, users typically need multiple existing lines on their account, and the free line must be activated with a bring-your-own-device (BYOD) setup rather than through the purchase of a new phone. The exact eligibility requirements and how many free lines one account can receive vary by customer.
This isn’t the first time T-Mobile has used free line promotions to reward loyalty or retain subscribers, but this iteration comes as carriers continue competitive offers during the holiday season. While the free line itself carries no monthly charge, standard taxes and fees may still apply.
