Samsung’s upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra has appeared in IMEI databases, confirming the premium tablet is currently in development. The listing doesn’t reveal full specifications, but it strongly suggests the successor to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra is moving toward launch.
Early reports indicate Samsung will likely retain the massive 14.6-inch display, continuing the Ultra model’s focus on large-screen productivity and media consumption. This would mirror the approach taken with the Tab S11 Ultra, which already pushed the limits of tablet size.
One of the more notable rumored upgrades is memory. The Tab S12 Ultra is tipped to offer configurations with up to 24GB of RAM, which would be a meaningful jump over the previous generation and position the tablet more clearly as a laptop replacement for power users.

Build quality may also see an improvement. Leaks suggest Samsung could introduce a Grade-5 titanium frame, potentially making the device both stronger and lighter than its predecessor’s aluminum build. If confirmed, this would be one of the biggest hardware changes in the new model.
Other details remain scarce for now, but the tablet is expected to ship with the latest Android version and Samsung’s updated One UI for tablets. Based on Samsung’s typical timeline, the Galaxy Tab S12 series will likely debut later in 2026.
