Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy S26 series, bringing its latest flagship trio with a heavy focus on artificial intelligence, performance upgrades, and a new privacy-focused display feature. The lineup includes the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra, continuing Samsung’s familiar three-model strategy.
The new phones were introduced at Galaxy Unpacked 2026 and are scheduled to go on sale globally starting March 11, 2026. Pre-orders typically open shortly after the announcement depending on the region.

Samsung is positioning the S26 family as its most advanced “AI phone” yet. The company has deeply integrated Google’s Gemini along with new AI tools for photo editing, call screening, document scanning, and proactive suggestions. Enhanced Bixby capabilities and Perplexity answer engine integration also form part of the new AI push.
Performance sees a major boost across the lineup. The series is powered by the latest flagship silicon in many markets, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 paired with improved cooling systems and fast 10-bit OLED displays. Some reports indicate that certain regions may use Samsung’s new 2nm Exynos 2600 chip in the standard and Plus variants.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra remains the headline model. It features a 200MP main camera, a 50MP 5x telephoto lens, and storage options up to 1TB. One of its most talked-about additions is the new Privacy Display, which makes the screen appear blank when viewed from the side designed to stop shoulder-surfing in public places.
On the software side, the S26 series launches with Android 16 and One UI 8, and Samsung is again promising up to seven years of OS and security updates, keeping the phones supported well into the next decade.

Pricing has increased slightly for some models due to rising memory chip costs. In the United States, the Galaxy S26 starts at $899, the S26+ at $1,099, while the Ultra remains at $1,299.
Overall, the Galaxy S26 series focuses less on radical hardware redesign and more on smarter AI features, stronger performance, and long-term software support. Samsung clearly wants this generation to be defined by intelligent software experiences rather than just raw specs.
