Samsung has started global sales of its new Galaxy S26 smartphone lineup alongside the Galaxy Buds4 series, following their unveiling at the company’s Galaxy Unpacked event earlier this year. The devices are now available in many markets through Samsung’s official stores, carriers, and major retailers. The launch comes after strong pre-order demand, with Samsung reporting double-digit growth compared to the previous generation.

The Galaxy S26 lineup consists of three models: the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. As usual, the Ultra sits at the top of the range with the most advanced features, while the standard S26 is the most compact option in the series. Samsung says the Ultra model accounted for the majority of early orders, with more than 70 percent of buyers choosing the premium variant.

Across the lineup, Samsung is focusing heavily on new Galaxy AI features designed to assist users with everyday tasks. These tools can analyze on-screen content, provide suggestions, and integrate more closely with Samsung’s apps and services. The phones also ship with the latest version of Android along with Samsung’s One UI software, which brings several new productivity and AI-driven features.
Hardware improvements are also part of the update. The Galaxy S26 features a slightly larger battery compared to the previous generation, now rated at 4,300 mAh. Samsung has also upgraded the internal processors, which vary by region, to deliver better performance for gaming, multitasking, and AI processing. Camera systems have also been refined, especially on the Ultra model, which continues to be positioned as Samsung’s main photography flagship. Another notable addition on the Ultra is a privacy display feature designed to limit screen visibility from side angles.
Alongside the new smartphones, Samsung has released the Galaxy Buds4 and Galaxy Buds4 Pro wireless earbuds. The new earbuds focus on improved sound quality and audio features, including 24-bit Hi-Fi audio support and 360-degree audio for a more immersive listening experience. Samsung has also updated the design with smoother curves and multiple microphones intended to improve call quality.

Battery life is rated at up to six hours of playback on the standard Galaxy Buds4 and around seven hours on the Buds4 Pro, with the charging case extending total usage to about 30 hours. The Pro version also adds enhanced noise cancellation and additional premium audio features.
Pricing varies by region, but the Galaxy S26 series generally starts around the $899 range, while the Buds4 earbuds are positioned as Samsung’s latest premium wireless audio option. With the global rollout now underway, Samsung is clearly aiming to build on the momentum of its flagship lineup while continuing to push AI features across its ecosystem of devices.
