Samsung “First Look” 2026

Samsung is preparing a major push for Google’s Gemini AI across its upcoming product lineup, extending beyond smartphones into home appliances and smart devices in 2026. At its “First Look” and CES 2026 previews, the company confirmed that Gemini will play a central role in AI enhancements across multiple categories.

At CES 2026, Samsung will unveil a new range of Bespoke AI kitchen appliances equipped with AI Vision powered by Google Gemini. This includes an upgraded Bespoke AI Refrigerator Family Hub, which can recognise a much wider variety of foods including fresh, processed, and even user-labelled items without requiring manual registration. The fridge’s AI powered by Gemini aims to make food inventory tracking more intuitive and actionable. It will also be able to assist with food management and suggestions based on what’s inside the unit.

Alongside the refrigerator, Samsung will introduce a Bespoke AI Wine Cellar that also uses Gemini-enhanced AI Vision. The system recognises wine labels, tracks placement on specific shelves, and integrates with Samsung’s SmartThings AI Wine Manager to provide information and pairing recommendations. This marks one of the first times Google’s generative AI has been used inside major home appliances.

Samsung’s integration of Gemini in appliances underscores a broader strategy to embed advanced AI into everyday devices. By partnering with Google Cloud, Samsung is expanding its AI Vision capabilities beyond phones and tablets into kitchen and home ecosystems. The company says these upgrades are designed to “simplify everyday tasks and elevate consumer experiences” through smarter, more context-aware AI.

The CES 2026 showcase running from January 6 to January 9 in Las Vegas will highlight these Google Gemini-infused appliances alongside refreshed designs and feature updates across Samsung’s Bespoke lineup. The move positions Samsung as one of the first major tech brands to bring sophisticated generative AI into both mobile devices and large home appliances, blending AI assistance with real-world household use.
