Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the Redmi A7 Pro as a new budget-friendly smartphone, with multiple global certifications indicating its arrival is imminent. The device has been spotted in regulatory databases including the UAE’s TDRA, Thailand’s NBTC, Indonesia’s SDPPI, and the US FCC, suggesting a wide release across regions.
According to certifications and leaks, the Redmi A7 Pro will feature a large 6.9-inch IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution and waterdrop notch, a typical setup for entry-level phones aiming for big screen real estate.
Under the hood, the phone is expected to be powered by a Unisoc T7250 chipset, an efficient entry-level processor paired with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage expandable via microSD. The Redmi A7 Pro will reportedly ship with Android 15 (likely Go Edition) to keep performance smooth on modest hardware.
One of the key highlights of the Redmi A7 Pro is its 6000 mAh battery, which should deliver excellent endurance for daily use, although charging speeds may be limited to 15W wired via USB-C.
Camera details aren’t fully confirmed yet, but early listings suggest the phone could sport a 50 MP main rear camera along with an 8 MP front shooter, which is a solid setup for a budget-tier device.
Additional expected features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, FM radio, and basic connectivity like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, making the Redmi A7 Pro a well-rounded option for entry-level buyers.
