Oneplus 13t Flagship or Midrange?

Again oneplus comes with a new T Flagship that’s called the OnePlus 13t. This mobile was launched on April 24, 2025. The OnePlus 13t has some new features, colors, a new eye-catching design and OnePlus still includes the charger in the box that many competitors don’t have. Let’s break down the specs, features, and design of the OnePlus 13T.

Design

The OnePlus 13T has a sleek and compact design, with a width of 71.7mm, that makes it more comfortable to hold and you can use it with one hand. In my opinion it is awesome and very similar to iPhone 16. It comes with three colors Morning Mist Grey, Cloud Ink Black, Powder Pink. The front has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 that offers excellent scratch and drop resistance and the back is also mate glass, giving it a sleek, premium feel. OnePlus Introduces a new customized physical button called Plus Key that replaces the iconic Alert Slider found on previous OnePlus models. You can customize it to perform various actions like launch specific app, start camera, turn on flash light and more whatever you want.  

Display

The OnePlus 13T comes with a  smaller 6.32-inch screen as compared to the previous model, the OnePlus 12T but it looks very beautiful and I love it. It has a flat LTPO AMOLED display with a 1.5k resolution and a super smooth 120Hz refresh rate. And an in display fingerprint sensor which is optical, not an ultrasonic one. The bezels are very thin, the size is smaller than the phone which makes the phone more comfortable and easy to hold.

OnePlus included features like Dolby Vision and HDR10+ for better video quality. The screen gets bright enough for most situations, with 800 nits of brightness and a peak of 1600 nits. It also has a P2 display chip and Mingmu Eye Protection 2.0 to reduce eye strain and improve overall display performance.

Camera Department

This device comes with two cameras on the back and one on the front. The main camer is a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and  f/1.8 aperture. And the telephoto lens is also 50MP with 2X optical zoom. The front camera of the mobile has a 16MP sensor. This device doesn’t have an ultra wide lens which is disappointing. 

You can shoot 4k at 60fps for smooth and high quality videos and again it does not support 120fps.

Performance 

The OnePlus 13T runs on the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, built using a cutting-edge 3nm process. It has an octa-core CPU with two high-performance cores running at 4.32 GHz and six efficiency cores at 3.53 GHz, giving it a great balance between speed and power efficiency. With up to 16GB of fast LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage options (256GB to 1TB), everything feels smooth whether you’re multitasking, launching apps, or gaming. In performance tests, it scored 2969 in Geekbench’s single-core and 8909 in multi-core solid numbers that reflect its flagship-level performance. It runs on OxygenOS 15, which is based on Android 14. OnePlus l features and long-term updates promised for up to five years.

Storage options go up to 1TB, using super-fast UFS 4.0 tech. There’s no SD card slot. The phone has a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip with up to 16GB of RAM.

Gaming is really solid on the OnePlus 13T. The graphics are smooth, and the 120Hz AMOLED screen makes everything look sharp and responsive. The phone has a good cooling system that helps keep temperatures down, but because it’s a smaller device, it can still get a bit warm during long gaming sessions.

At just 185 grams and 8.2mm thick, it’s light and easy to hold. With its strong build, water resistance, and top-level performance, the OnePlus 13T is a great all-around choice.

Battery and Charging

The OnePlus 13T comes with a large 6,260mAh battery but the size of the mobile is very small. When you do need to charge, the 80W fast charging is super quick, it goes from 0 to 100% in about 35 minutes. It also has reverse charging, so you can give a little power to things like your earbuds if needed. Overall, the battery and charging are solid and make the phone really easy to live with. It also supports 5W reverse charging.
