New leaks have shed light on the upcoming Nothing Phone (4a) series, revealing an unexpected shift in chipset strategy as the brand prepares its next mid-range duo for an early-2026 launch.
According to recent listings and insider reports, the standard Nothing Phone (4a) is expected to feature the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, while the higher-end Phone (4a) Pro may step up to the more powerful Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. This marks a notable change from last year’s lineup, where both models shared the same Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor.
The Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 brings better efficiency and improved 5G capabilities, while the Pro model’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 could offer a noticeable boost in sustained performance and AI-related tasks.
Pricing is also reportedly moving upward. Leaks suggest the Phone (4a) could start around $475 for the 12GB/256GB variant, with the Phone (4a) Pro expected at roughly $540. In return, Nothing may offer additional color options this year, including blue, pink, white, and black.A recent BIS certification confirms that the Phone (4a) is entering the final approval stages in India, strengthening expectations of a March 2026 release window. Alongside the phones, Nothing is also rumored to introduce a new audio accessory called Headphone (a).
