
Motorola has officially launched the Edge 70 in India, expanding its Edge lineup with a sleek mid-range 5G smartphone focused on design, performance, and cameras. The phone will be available for purchase starting later this month through online and offline retail channels.
The Motorola Edge 70 features a 6.7-inch 1.5K pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and extremely high peak brightness, making it suitable for outdoor use. The panel is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i, while the phone itself stands out for its ultra-slim profile and lightweight build. Motorola has also added IP68 and IP69 ratings along with MIL-STD-810H certification for improved durability.
Under the hood, the Edge 70 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, paired with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device runs Android 16 with Hello UX, and Motorola has confirmed multiple Android OS updates along with long-term security support.
In the camera department, the Edge 70 comes with a 50MP primary camera with OIS, accompanied by a 50MP ultra-wide sensor. On the front, there is a 50MP selfie camera, which also supports 4K video recording. The phone includes several AI-based camera and productivity features as part of Motorola’s Moto AI suite.
Battery life is handled by a 5,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, supporting 68W fast wired charging and 15W wireless charging. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.
