The iQOO 15R was officially unveiled on 24 February 2026 in India, with pre‑bookings beginning the same day and sales set to start from 3 March 2026 via Amazon, the brand’s online store, and select offline retailers.

A standout feature of the 15R is its huge 7,600 mAh battery, one of the largest ever seen in mainstream Android phones. The cell supports 100 W wired fast charging and bypass charging reducing heat and enabling shorter top‑up times. Despite its size, the phone maintains a relatively slim profile around 7.9 mm.

Powering the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, built on a 3 nm process, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage for smooth performance and gaming. The 6.59‑inch 1.5K AMOLED display offers a 144 Hz refresh rate and up to 5000 nits peak brightness for vivid visuals.

The camera setup includes a 50 MP Sony LYT‑700V main sensor with OIS, an 8 MP ultra‑wide lens, and a 32 MP front camera. The phone runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6 and comes with four years of OS updates and six years of security patches.

Additional highlights include IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance, Wi‑Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, an in‑display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, and advanced cooling for gaming stability.
