iQOO has officially confirmed a key gaming feature for its upcoming iQOO 15 Ultra. The device will debut with touch-based shoulder triggers featuring a 600Hz touch sampling rate, positioning it as one of the most gaming-focused flagships in the market.
Unlike traditional mechanical buttons, the shoulder triggers on the iQOO 15 Ultra are capacitive, designed to offer faster response times and improved durability. With a 600Hz sampling rate, input detection happens significantly faster than standard touchscreen controls, helping reduce latency during competitive gaming sessions.

According to iQOO, the triggers use independent control chips for each side, allowing more precise input handling. Users will be able to custom-map the triggers for in-game actions or system shortcuts. To mimic the feel of physical buttons, the triggers are paired with haptic feedback, while an anti-sweat algorithm ensures consistent touch recognition during long gaming sessions.
Beyond gaming controls, the iQOO 15 Ultra is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s latest flagship Snapdragon chipset, paired with a large high-resolution AMOLED display and a dedicated cooling system aimed at sustained performance. Early reports also point toward a large battery with fast charging support, though exact figures remain unconfirmed.
The iQOO 15 Ultra is scheduled to launch in China in early February 2026, with more official specifications expected to be revealed in the coming days.
