iQOO is all set to unveil its next-generation flagship the iQOO 15 on October 20, 2025, in China, with an India launch expected in November. The device is shaping up to be one of the most powerful Android smartphones of the year, packing the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and a range of top-tier features aimed at gamers and power users.
The iQOO 15 will feature a 6.85-inch 2K LTPO AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness up to 6,000 nits, ensuring smooth visuals and excellent outdoor visibility. This combination makes it one of the brightest and most responsive displays in the flagship segment.
Under the hood, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor is paired with up to 24GB RAM and 1TB UFS 4.1 storage, ensuring blazing-fast performance and efficient multitasking. Some variants are also expected to include a Q3 gaming chip, designed to enhance frame stability, visual effects, and thermal control during long gaming sessions.
The iQOO 15 will come with a triple 50MP rear camera setup, including a main, ultra-wide, and periscope telephoto lens with up to 3x optical zoom. On the front, users will find a 50MP selfie camera. The camera improvements, coupled with iQOO’s AI image processing, aim to deliver flagship-level photography and videography, including improved low-light shots.
Powering the device is a massive 7,000mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging and up to 50W wireless charging. This setup promises long endurance and rapid top-ups, ideal for heavy users. The phone also carries IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance, 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and an advanced 8K vapor cooling system for temperature management during gaming or intensive tasks.
On the software side, the iQOO 15 will ship with Android 16 based on OriginOS 6, offering smooth animations and a cleaner interface.
As for pricing, leaks suggest the iQOO 15 could start around ₹59,999 in India for the 12GB/256GB model, with higher-end versions costing more.
With these specs, the iQOO 15 seems ready to take on rivals like the OnePlus 15 and Xiaomi 17 series. Its combination of performance, display quality, and battery endurance makes it one of the most anticipated Android flagships of late 2025.
