Huawei Nova 15 Series Debuts With Dual-Ring Camera Design

Huawei has officially unveiled the nova 15 series in China, bringing a refreshed design language, larger batteries, and notable camera upgrades to its popular mid-range lineup. The series includes three models Huawei nova 15, nova 15 Pro, and nova 15 Ultra all running HarmonyOS 6.0 out of the box and aimed at users who value style and photography.

The most striking change appears on the nova 15 Pro and nova 15 Ultra, which introduce a dual-ring camera design placed inside a horizontal rectangular camera island. This gives the devices a distinctive and premium look. All models feature flat frames, slim bezels, and vibrant color options including Green, Purple, White, and Black.

At the top, the Huawei nova 15 Ultra focuses heavily on imaging and durability. It features a triple 50MP RYYB camera system, including a periscope telephoto lens capable of 3.7x optical and up to 100x digital zoom. The Ultra model also adds 50W wireless charging, IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance, and enhanced connectivity features, while retaining the 6,500mAh battery and 100W wired charging.

Moving up, the nova 15 Pro gets a larger 6.84-inch LTPO OLED display with an adaptive 1–120Hz refresh rate and the more powerful Kirin 9010S processor. Its camera setup includes a 50MP main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 12MP telephoto sensor. The battery is upgraded to 6,500mAh, while fast charging remains at 100W.

The Huawei nova 15 serves as the entry point in the lineup. It features a 6.7-inch OLED display and is powered by the Kirin 8020 chipset. On the camera side, it packs a 50MP RYYB main sensor, a 12MP telephoto portrait lens, a multispectral sensor, and a 50MP front camera for selfies. A 6,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging ensures strong endurance.

With bold styling, improved camera systems, fast charging, and smooth OLED displays, the Huawei nova 15 series represents a significant step forward for Huawei’s mid-range offerings. For now, the phones are confirmed for China, with no official word yet on global availability.
