Huawei has officially confirmed that the Mate 80 Pro is heading to international markets, with a global launch event scheduled for February 26, 2026, in Madrid, Spain. The phone was originally unveiled in China late last year as part of the Mate 80 series lineup.
The Mate 80 Pro is expected to bring its flagship hardware unchanged to global audiences. That includes a 6.7-inch LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Huawei’s latest Kirin 9030 chipset, and a high-capacity battery with fast wired and wireless charging support.
On the camera front, the device features a versatile multi-lens setup highlighted by a large main sensor, periscope telephoto zoom, and Huawei’s advanced imaging system. The Mate series has traditionally focused heavily on photography and premium design, and the Mate 80 Pro continues that approach with a distinctive circular rear camera layout and high-end finishes.
As with recent Huawei global devices, the Mate 80 Pro is expected to ship with EMUI for international markets, without Google Mobile Services.
