Honor Unveils Flagship Honor 500 Series in China

Honor has officially launched its new flagship number series, the Honor 500 and Honor 500 Pro, in China today, November 24, 2025. This series introduces a significant focus on battery endurance, camera hardware, and device durability, offering premium features powered by Qualcomm’s latest processors.

Both the Honor 500 and Honor 500 Pro feature an identical 6.55-inch LTPS AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, complemented by an industry-leading 3840Hz PWM dimming for eye comfort, and reaching up to a staggering 6,000 nits peak brightness. Both models pack an enormous 8,000mAh Si/C Li-Ion battery with support for 80W wired fast charging.

The Honor 500 Pro is powered by the top-tier Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, while the standard Honor 500 uses the powerful Snapdragon 8’s Gen 4 chipset. For optics, the standard model includes a 200MP main camera and a 12MP ultrawide, while the Pro model upgrades to a triple-camera system, adding a 50MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. Both phones have a 50MP front camera. The devices run on MagicOS 10.0 based on Android 16 and boast excellent durability with a comprehensive IP68/IP69/IP69K water and dust resistance rating. The Pro variant further includes 50W wireless charging and a 3D Ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. Both phones offer configurations up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage (Pro only).
