Honor has officially launched its latest flagships, the Honor Magic 8 and Honor Magic 8 Pro, in China. Both devices arrive with upgraded camera systems, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 power, and refined designs that continue Honor’s focus on performance and elegance.

Honor Magic 8 Pro

The Honor Magic 8 Pro features a 6.71-inch LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1256 x 2808 pixels resolution, and peak brightness of 6000 nits. The panel supports HDR Vivid and PWM dimming for enhanced eye comfort.

Under the hood, it’s powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with 256GB 12GB RAM, 512GB 12GB RAM, 512GB 16GB RAM, 1TB 16GB RAM. The Magic 8 Pro runs MagicOS 10 based on Android 16, promising smoother animations and improved AI integration.

In the camera department, the Pro variant gets a triple rear setup featuring a 50MP main sensor, 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 200MP telephoto camera with 3.7x optical zoom. The front camera is a 50MP shooter, ideal for high-quality selfies and video calls.

Powering the device is a 7,200mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging and 80W wireless charging, ensuring top-tier endurance and speed. Other features include IP68/IP69 dust tight and water resistance, stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 802.11, and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under the display.

The standard Honor Magic 8 shares the same design language as the Pro model but offers a slightly smaller 6.58-inch LTPO OLED display with 1256 x 2760 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (3 nm chip and offers up to 256GB 12GB RAM, 512GB 12GB RAM, 512GB 16GB RAM, 1TB 16GB RAM. The Magic 8 features a 50MP main, 50MP ultrawide, and 64MP telephoto camera system, along with a 50MP selfie camera.

Battery capacity sits at 7000 mAh with 90W fast charging and 80W Wireless. The phone includes stereo speakers, 5G support, and MagicOS 10 (Android 16).

Color choices include Black, White, Gold and Mint maintaining a slim 7.8mm profile and weighing around 205 grams.
