Honor has introduced the Honor 600 Lite, even though the Honor 500 series is still waiting for its wider global release. The new model is already available in Malaysia and Slovakia, marking the first device in the upcoming 600 lineup.
The Honor 600 Lite comes with a 6.6-inch AMOLED display offering FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Honor says the panel can reach 6,500 nits peak brightness, which should help when using the phone outdoors. The screen includes a pill-shaped cutout for the 16MP front camera, and an optical fingerprint scanner sits underneath the display.

Design-wise, the phone sticks to a familiar look. It features an aluminum frame paired with a glass back, and it carries an IP66 rating for protection against dust and water. Compared with the earlier Honor 400 Lite, the overall design hasn’t changed much, though the new model adds stronger ingress protection.
Inside, the device runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 Elite with 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage. The chipset is a modest upgrade over the Dimensity chip used in the Honor 400 Lite, so users should see slightly better performance in gaming and multitasking.
The phone ships with Android 16 running MagicOS 10 on top, bringing the latest version of Honor’s software and AI features.
Camera hardware stays the same as the previous model. On the back, the phone uses a 108MP main camera alongside a 5MP ultrawide lens, while the front camera is a 16MP unit.

One new addition is a dedicated AI camera button, which can quickly launch the camera, take photos or videos, and activate visual recognition tools. Aside from that, the setup is largely identical to what we saw on the Honor 400 Lite.
Battery capacity is where the biggest change appears. The Honor 600 Lite packs a 6,520mAh battery, noticeably larger than the 5,000–5,300mAh batteries common in this price segment and bigger than the battery used in the Honor 400 Lite.

Charging is handled through 45W wired fast charging, which is also a step up from the previous generation’s charging speed.
The phone is available in Desert Gold and Velvet Grey color options. Pricing starts at MYR 1,299 (~$330) in Malaysia, while the device is listed at €300 in Slovakia.
At that price, the Honor 600 Lite competes with mid-range models from brands like Samsung, Xiaomi, and Realme, with its large battery and bright display being the main highlights.
