Google has officially unveiled the Pixel 10a, expanding its popular mid-range lineup with updated hardware, improved display tech, and enhanced software features. The Pixel 10a was announced today, 18 February 2026, as Google’s latest “a-series” phone aimed at buyers who want core Pixel features at a more affordable price point. Design and Display
The Pixel 10a retains the familiar design language of recent Pixels, with flat edges, a centered punch-hole display, and clean, straightforward styling. It features a 6.3-inch Actua OLED screen with up to 120 Hz refresh rate and peak brightness approaching 3,000 nits, this makes the screen noticeably brighter and more vibrant than the Pixel 9a’s display.
The phone also includes IP68 dust and water resistance and Gorilla Glass 7i protection for added durability.
Performance and Software
Under the hood, the Pixel 10a is powered by Google’s Tensor G4 chipset, the same core silicon family used in the Pixel 9 series paired with smooth software optimization. The phone ships with Android 16 and promises seven years of software and security updates, a significant advantage for long-term users.
