Google Pixel 10a Brings Tensor G4, 120Hz AMOLED and Bigger Battery

Pixel 10a

Google has officially confirmed the Pixel 10a, continuing its popular mid-range “a-series” with meaningful upgrades in performance, display, and battery life. The phone will open for pre-orders on February 18, 2026, with availability expected shortly after in major global markets.

The Pixel 10a features a 6.3-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and improved peak brightness, offering smoother scrolling and better outdoor visibility than its predecessor. Design-wise, it sticks to Google’s familiar Pixel look, but with a flush dual-camera module and symmetrical bezels on the front.

Powering the device is Google’s Tensor G4 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone will ship with Android 16 out of the box and, like other recent Pixels, is expected to receive up to seven years of Android and security updates.

On the camera front, the Pixel 10a comes with a 48MP main camera alongside a 13MP ultra-wide sensor, while selfies are handled by a 13MP front camera. Google’s computational photography remains a key selling point, despite modest hardware changes.

The phone packs a 5,100mAh battery, supporting 23W wired charging and 7.5W wireless charging, which is still uncommon in the mid-range segment.

The Pixel 10a will be available in multiple colors, including Obsidian, Berry, Fog, and Lavender, Pricing is expected to start at around $499 in the US and €549 in Europe, positioning the Pixel 10a competitively against other premium mid-range smartphones.
