Google Officially Launches Gemini 3 AI Model

Gemini 3

Google has officially launched its new Gemini 3 model, bringing a major upgrade to its AI lineup with stronger reasoning, faster performance, and deeper multimodal abilities. The company says the model is designed to handle more complex tasks, work with longer content, and deliver more accurate results inside Google apps and services. Gemini 3 can process extremely large amounts of information at once, thanks to its expanded context window, allowing it to handle long documents, videos, and detailed workflows without losing track of the conversation. A more powerful “Deep Think” version will arrive soon, focused on advanced math, scientific logic, and long-form reasoning.

Google has also improved Gemini’s multimodal understanding, giving it better performance when analyzing images, charts, audio, and mixed media. Safety has been another major focus, with upgraded security checks, stronger protection against jailbreak attempts, and better handling of sensitive topics. Alongside the model, Google is pushing new developer tools such as Vibe Coding an upgraded version of Project IDX which lets developers build interfaces or edit code through natural language. The Antigravity platform also allows Gemini agents to interact with a browser, terminal, and editor to complete tasks through simple instructions.

Gemini 3 will soon power the new AI Mode in Google Search, offering more visual and dynamic answers with step-by-step guidance. It is also available for Gemini Advanced users and is rolling out through Vertex AI for developers and enterprise customers. Google says this release represents a major step toward more capable, responsible, and helpful AI across its entire ecosystem.
