Galaxy S26 Series May Arrive Later Than Expected

If you’ve been waiting for the Galaxy S26 Series, you might have to be a bit more patient. According to a new report from The Elec, Samsung has adjusted its production schedule for the upcoming flagship lineup.

The company reportedly plans to begin mass production of the Galaxy S26 Ultra in December 2025, while the standard Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus will follow a month later in January 2026. Originally, Samsung aimed to start production for all three models at the same time, but the recent lineup change has forced a reschedule.

Samsung has reportedly dropped the Edge variant and decided to bring back the Galaxy S26 Plus instead. Because this change happened late in development, the company needs more time to finalize the design and features of the Plus model before entering production.

As for the launch, sources suggest the Galaxy S26 series will debut later than the Galaxy S25 lineup. While this year’s models arrived in January, the new flagships are now expected to launch sometime between February and March 2026.

Even though the delay might disappoint some fans, it’s likely a strategic move to ensure a better balance in design and performance. If the extra time helps Samsung refine its devices and step away from ultra-thin compromises, the wait could be well worth it.
