Samsung has officially confirmed the launch of the Galaxy F70e 5G in India, following recent teasers for the Galaxy F70 series. The Galaxy F70e will debut on February 9 and will be sold via Samsung’s official online store and Flipkart, with offline availability also expected.
The Galaxy F70e 5G will feature a leather-like textured back panel and will be available in Limelight Green and Spotlight Blue color options. Official images reveal a waterdrop notch on the front and relatively thick bezels, in line with Samsung’s budget-focused F-series design.
On the camera front, the phone will come with a dual rear camera setup, led by a 50MP primary sensor alongside a 2MP depth camera. For selfies and video calls, it will feature an 8MP front camera.
Samsung has also confirmed that the Galaxy F70e will sport a 120Hz display with up to 800 nits of peak brightness, which should offer smoother scrolling and decent outdoor visibility for its segment.
Powering the device will be a large 6,000mAh battery, although Samsung has not yet disclosed the charging speed. Other specifications, including the processor, software version, and pricing, are expected to be revealed closer to launch.
With a big battery, high-refresh-rate display, and 5G support, the Galaxy F70e is shaping up to be a typical Samsung F-series offering aimed at the budget and mid-range market.
