Apple could be preparing a major upgrade to its premium product lineup, and the spotlight may be on the word “Ultra.” According to Gurman, Apple is exploring the launch of three new Ultra-branded devices this year, expanding the label beyond its current use in chips and the rugged Apple Watch Ultra.
The company could introduce a foldable iPhone Ultra, AirPods Ultra with cameras, and a brand-new MacBook Ultra.
Foldable iPhone Ultra

The foldable iPhone, which could be marketed as the iPhone Ultra. The device is expected to feature a large foldable display, allowing it to transform from a regular phone into a tablet-like device.
It may include under-display sensors, potentially hiding Face ID components beneath the screen for a cleaner design. The phone could also carry a price tag close to $2,000, placing it well above Apple’s current flagship models like the iPhone 17 Pro Max.
AirPods Ultra With Built-In Cameras

AirPods Ultra may include tiny cameras embedded in the earbuds. These cameras would not be used for photography but rather to collect environmental data for AI features.
The idea is that visual data could work with Siri and Apple’s AI systems to provide context-aware assistance, recognizing objects or surroundings. This technology may also connect with Apple’s spatial computing ecosystem, including devices like the Apple Vision Pro.
MacBook Ultra

The third rumored product is a MacBook Ultra, which could sit above the current MacBook Pro in Apple’s laptop lineup. The device may introduce OLED display technology and possibly touchscreen support, something Apple has historically avoided on MacBooks.
