Samsung has released the second One UI 9.0 beta update for the Galaxy A07 5G, just a week after opening the beta program for its cheapest 5G phone. Unlike the first beta, which mainly got the phone onto Android 17, Beta 2 is focused entirely on fixing bugs found in that first build.

The changelog lists three fixes: a reboot issue that could occur while using the Chrome browser, a Camera app crash when shooting in Rear Portrait mode, and an improvement to a CP crash that was affecting network reliability. It’s a short list, but each one addresses a fairly disruptive bug rather than a cosmetic tweak.
It’s still a bit notable that a budget phone like the A07 5G is getting beta treatment at all — Samsung typically reserves beta programs for its S and Z series, only occasionally extending them to more affordable devices with strong software-support commitments.
Anyone already enrolled in the beta program can grab Beta 2 from Settings > Software update > Download and install. As with any beta, Samsung’s usual caution applies — it’s testing software that can include bugs or unexpected behavior, so backing up the device beforehand is worth doing.
