Apple’s September event just got a lot more real. The company has quietly added an “Apple Event September 9” listing to its official YouTube channel, moving the date from rumor territory to an actual scheduled livestream.
Mark it down: Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 10 a.m. Pacific that’s 1 p.m. Eastern and 6 p.m. UK time. Apple’s calling it “Surprise and shine,” paired with artwork showing an iridescent Apple logo lit from within. You’ll be able to watch on Apple.com, the Apple TV app, or now officially on YouTube Live.
What Apple hasn’t confirmed is the product lineup, though the rumor mill is fairly aligned. Expect the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max to headline, alongside what’s being called the iPhone Ultra Apple’s first foldable iPhone, tipped to open into a tablet-like display. New Apple Watch models are also reportedly on deck.
There’s a bigger subplot here too. This lands just eight days after Tim Cook hands the CEO role to John Ternus on September 1, making September 9 effectively Ternus’s opening night as Apple’s chief executive. It’s also a day later than Apple’s usual Tuesday slot, likely nudged by the Labor Day holiday on September 7.
Either way, the invite’s out even if Apple’s keeping the actual surprises locked down until showtime.
