The Galaxy S26 FE just showed up on Google’s Play Console supported-devices list, and this time it’s not just another leak, it’s the phone confirming its own specs through Samsung’s software submission process. Reports spotted the SM-S741U model listing specifically, plus regional variants covering the international, Korean, US carrier, US unlocked, and Canadian markets, all sharing the internal codename “r14.”
The processor detail is the big one here. The listing identifies the platform as Samsung’s s5e9955 paired with an Xclipse 950 GPU, which points straight to the Exynos 2500, the same chip that’s been floating around in earlier rumors. This isn’t the first sign of it either, a Geekbench result for the Korean S741N model surfaced with the Exynos 2500 a while back, so between the benchmark and now this listing, that chip choice is looking pretty locked in.

RAM comes in around 8GB according to the listing, and the display resolution checks in at 1080 x 2340 with 450 DPI, consistent with the roughly 6.7-inch AMOLED panel that’s been rumored, though the Play Console listing itself doesn’t confirm refresh rate. Other leaks still point to 120Hz and possibly LTPO, but treat that as separate from what this particular listing actually verifies.
Charging and battery are still leaking territory too. Earlier reports suggest 45W wired charging, a real step up from the 25W most FE models have used, and battery estimates land somewhere around 4,900 to 5,100mAh depending on which report you check, so somewhere close to 5,000mAh is the safest way to think about it for now. Camera-wise, earlier leaks point to a 50MP main sensor and 8MP telephoto that could carry over largely unchanged from the S25 FE, alongside a redesigned camera bump that reportedly looks more in line with the mainline Galaxy S26 family.
Samsung hasn’t given an official launch date, but current expectations point to a September 2026 window. What makes this listing worth paying attention to isn’t the existence of the phone, everyone already knew that was coming, it’s that the chipset, RAM, and display resolution have moved from rumor to something closer to confirmed ahead of an official unveiling.
