A class-action lawsuit followed. Now Apple has agreed to a $250 million settlement, and if you bought a qualifying iPhone during the right window, there’s money waiting for you.
Apple denies any wrongdoing standard for settlements like this but agreed to pay rather than fight prolonged litigation. The settlement still needs final court approval before payments go out.
Which iPhones qualify: iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 16, iPhone 16e, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max purchased in the United States between June 10, 2024 and March 29, 2025 for personal use.
How much you could receive: A base payment of $25 per eligible device, potentially rising to $95 maximum depending on how many people file valid claims. Fewer claims means higher individual payouts, up to that cap.
Payments aren’t automatic; you need to submit a claim. Apple will notify eligible customers by email once the settlement process advances, directing them to a dedicated settlement website. A 90-day claim window opens after the site goes live. Have your device serial number ready.
This case is specifically about the delayed Apple Intelligence Siri features, not the separate Siri privacy recording lawsuit from earlier years.
