Huawei just confirmed it. The Pura 90 series global launch is set for July 14, 2026, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia bringing Huawei’s latest flagship camera phones to international markets under the tagline “Now Is Your Moment.”
The biggest surprise from the official announcement is a phone most people weren’t expecting the Pura 90s Pro Max. Huawei confirmed its existence directly through promotional material, teasing 20x zoom capability, enhanced long-range photography, improved macro imaging, and AI-assisted image processing. The campaign line says it best: “Zoom in. Notice more. Zoom out. See everything.” Photography is clearly the headline story again.
Based on the Chinese launch, the global lineup is expected to include the standard Pura 90, Pura 90 Pro, and the newly teased Pura 90s Pro Max, though Huawei hasn’t confirmed the complete international model list yet. The series brings large main camera sensors, variable aperture technology, periscope telephoto lenses, and LTPO OLED displays with high peak brightness across the board. Chinese variants run on Kirin processors; international models are widely expected to follow suit where regulations permit.
Software will shift to EMUI for international markets rather than China’s HarmonyOS NEXT, following Huawei’s established global pattern.
Pricing, storage configurations, country-by-country availability, and exact release dates after the event haven’t been announced yet expect all of that on July 14.
