iQOO 15T Launches With World’s First Dimensity 9500 Monster Edition

iQOO just made the gaming phone conversation a lot more interesting. The iQOO 15T officially launched in China today and it’s arriving with a spec sheet that reads like someone ignored every compromise most flagship phones make and just kept going.

The headline is the chipset. The iQOO 15T is the first phone globally to use the Dimensity 9500 Monster Edition a customised, gaming-tuned variant of MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9500 specifically optimised for sustained frame rates and thermal stability under heavy load. Alongside it sits iQOO’s dedicated Q3 gaming chip handling frame stabilisation, upscaling, and latency reduction independently from the main processor. Two chips working together are genuinely unusual at this price point.

The 8,000mAh silicon-carbon battery with 100W fast charging is what will get most people talking. That’s RedMagic 11S Pro territory, a capacity you simply won’t find on any iPhone or Samsung Galaxy flagship. The 6.82-inch 2K OLED “Everest” display at 144Hz gives the hardware a proper canvas to work with. A 200MP Samsung HP5 main sensor with OIS and 50MP ultrawide round out a camera system that goes well beyond what most gaming phones bother with.

The build quality matches the ambition IP68 and IP69 dual water resistance on a gaming phone is genuinely rare, and the ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner adds security without compromising speed. At 8.25mm thick and 216g, it’s impressively compact for everything packed inside.

Launched today in China. India launch unconfirmed but widely expected. Pricing details still emerging watch this space.
