OPPO Find X9 Ultra: Two 200MP cameras, a 7,050mAh battery, and a global debut

OPPO is done playing it safe. Its next Ultra flagship is packing specs that are genuinely hard to believe and it might just be going global this time.

For years, OPPO’s “Ultra” phones stayed comfortably out of reach for most of the world China-only launches that left global buyers watching from the sidelines. That changes with the Find X9 Ultra. According to multiple credible leaks, OPPO is preparing not just a spec monster, but its first true global Ultra flagship. And the specs? They’re going to spark a conversation.

OPPO appears to be blowing that up. Leaks point to a quad-camera array headlined by a 200MP primary shooter and here’s the kicker a 200MP telephoto at 3x optical zoom. That’s unprecedented.

Add a periscope telephoto for longer reach and a 50MP-class ultra-wide, and you’ve got a system that covers every focal length with serious resolution. Whether 200MP on a telephoto translates to real-world sharpness gains or mostly serves pixel-binning we’ll have to wait for a hands-on. But the ambition is undeniable.

On the silicon side, the Find X9 Ultra runs the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 the fastest chip available to Android flagships right now paired with 16GB of RAM. There’s no bottleneck here. The display story is equally strong: a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED panel running at 1440×3120 (2K) with a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate and NanoCrystal Glass protection. That’s a big screen done properly.

At roughly 7,050mAh, the Find X9 Ultra is carrying one of the largest cells ever fitted into a premium phone and at 235–236g and ~8.5–9.1mm thin, it’s doing it without turning into a brick. 100W wired charging means you’re back to full from dead in about 35–40 minutes by current OPPO standards, while 50W wireless keeps things cable-free when you want.

The OPPO Find X9 Ultra isn’t trying to do something slightly better it’s swinging for something no one has done before. Dual 200MP sensors, a 7,050mAh battery, and a confirmed global launch are the kind of combination that could genuinely shake up the premium tier.
