As the Samsung Galaxy S26 and Google Pixel 10a launch windows approach, major carriers especially T-Mobile are rolling out aggressive trade-in and bundle promotions to attract new subscribers and keep existing ones from switching.
T-Mobile’s Punchy Pixel Offers
In the US, T-Mobile is reportedly targeting customers with standout Pixel 10 deals via its T-Life app and plan promotions. Some eligible users are seeing offers that apply up to $800 in credits toward a Pixel 10 after a trade-in of any-condition device effectively making the base Pixel 10 free over 24 months on qualifying plans.

These credits stack against the phone’s retail price and are delivered as monthly bill credits, which can also significantly reduce the cost of Pixel 10 Pro variants. The offer appears to target customers who might be considering switching carriers, though availability and eligibility can vary by account.
Additionally, T-Mobile has historically run similar promotions where customers can get free or deeply discounted Pixel devices sometimes paired with accessories like earbuds when adding a new line or trading in older phones. While not all these offers are tied to the Pixel 10a specifically yet, they show how carriers are gearing up to promote Google’s upcoming mid-range launch alongside other flagship deals.
Samsung Trade-In Push Before S26
Samsung itself has already hinted at expanded trade-in credits ahead of the Galaxy S26 series launch. According to recent promotions tied to the official preorder period, Samsung is offering up to $900 of trade-in value for qualifying devices when upgrading to a new S26 model up from around $700 maximum on the previous S25 series.

Outside of the US, carriers like Zong in Pakistan have partnered with Samsung to bring prebooking opportunities, bundled offers, and structured trade-in programs tied to the Galaxy S26 Series, aiming to boost affordability and 5G adoption across their networks.
Broader Carrier Promotions
Beyond T-Mobile and Samsung, other carriers including AT&T are also running trade-in and new-line incentives across major brands, with promotions that can include substantial rebates on Pixel, Samsung Galaxy, and iPhone models when signing up for selected unlimited plans.
With both the S26 series and Pixel 10a launches on the horizon, customers may find a crowded promotions landscape in early 2026, featuring free devices with plans, high trade-in values, and bundled extras designed to sweeten upgrades and new subscriptions.
