Samsung has expanded its budget‑friendly Galaxy F‑series with the launch of the Galaxy F70e 5G in India, marking the first phone in the new F70 lineup. The device is designed for users looking for a big screen, long battery life, and reliable everyday performance at an aggressive price point.
The Galaxy F70e 5G sports a 6.7‑inch HD+ LCD panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 800 nits, offering smooth visuals and decent outdoor visibility. Its design includes a leather‑like textured back and a slim 8.2 mm profile, along with an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset paired with up to 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD. It runs Android 16 with One UI 8 out of the box, and Samsung promises six generations of OS updates and six years of security patches, which is an exceptionally long support window for a budget device.
Camera duties are handled by a 50 MP primary rear sensor with a 2 MP depth unit, while an 8 MP front camera sits in a waterdrop notch for selfies and video calls. The phone’s 6,000 mAh battery supports 25 W fast charging, ensuring all‑day use even with heavy screen time.
Connectivity options include 5G support across multiple bands, dual SIM, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Security is further bolstered by Samsung Knox Vault, which offers hardware‑level protection for sensitive data.
In India, the Galaxy F70e 5G is priced starting at ₹12,499 for the 4 GB + 128 GB variant and ₹14,999 for the 6 GB + 128 GB model. A limited‑time ₹500 launch offer brings the effective starting price down further. The phone will go on sale from 17 February 2026 via Samsung’s online store, Flipkart, and select offline retailers.
