iQOO 15 Ultra teased, early February launch confirmed

iQOO has begun teasing the iQOO 15 Ultra, confirming an early February launch in China and revealing the phone’s first official design details. The new model is positioned as the brand’s next performance-driven gaming flagship.

Visually, the iQOO 15 Ultra builds on the standard iQOO 15’s design but adds a more aggressive look. The back panel now uses a honeycomb-inspired texture, while the camera module has been reworked to accommodate vent openings for an internal active cooling fan, a rare feature outside dedicated gaming phones.

The teasers also confirm the return of shoulder-mounted pressure-sensitive triggers, clearly aimed at mobile gamers. Power and volume buttons sit on the right edge, completing the familiar gaming-phone layout.

iQOO showcased the device in two finishes, 2077 (black) and 2049 (white). The black model features subtle orange highlights, while the white version uses blue accents for contrast.

Under the hood, the iQOO 15 Ultra is expected to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, paired with a Q3 gaming co-processor for improved frame stability and thermal control. The display is rumored to be a 6.85-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate.

More details, including battery, charging, and pricing, are expected closer to launch.
