OnePlus has officially launched the Turbo 6 series in China, debuting two new smartphones, the OnePlus Turbo 6 and the OnePlus Turbo 6V with massive 9,000 mAh batteries, high-refresh AMOLED screens, and Snapdragon chipsets. Both models go on sale in China starting January 9, 2026 and are currently exclusive to the Chinese market.
Display & Design
The Turbo 6 series features 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED displays on both models. The Turbo 6 sports a 165 Hz variable refresh rate, while the Turbo 6V offers a 144 Hz panel. These displays also include PWM dimming and DC dimming for smoother visuals and reduced strain.
In terms of design, the Turbo 6 has a minimalist rear with OPPO Crystal Shield glass, large curved corners, and premium feel, while both phones maintain IP66/68/69/69K water and dust resistance.
Performance
The OnePlus Turbo 6 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, a high-end 4 nm processor tailored for performance and gaming paired with up to 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512 GB UFS 4.1 storage.
The Turbo 6V uses the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset with up to 12 GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512 GB UFS 3.1 storage, offering strong mid-range performance.
Both phones run Android 16 with ColorOS 16 out of the box.
Battery & Charging
A standout highlight is the 9,000 mAh battery in both models, one of the largest ever seen in mainstream smartphones. They support 80 W SuperVOOC fast charging, 27 W reverse wired charging, and bypass charging technology to manage heat during long play sessions.
The phones are relatively slim given this battery size, measuring around 8.50 mm in thickness.
Cameras
Both models share a dual rear camera setup with a 50 MP main sensor (f/1.88) with OIS and a 2 MP monochrome sensor. On the front, there’s a 16 MP selfie camera.
Connectivity & Features
The Turbo 6 includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, in-display optical fingerprint sensor, IR blaster, stereo speakers, and support for 5G SA/NSA networks. The Turbo 6V has similar connectivity with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4.
Both models have dual nano SIM support and full IP69K water/dust protection.
Pricing & Availability (China)
The Turbo 6 series is now available to pre-order and goes on sale from January 9, 2026 in China in multiple color options. Pricing (approximate USD conversions):
