Honor has officially launched the Magic 8 Lite, and the highlight feature is its huge 7,500mAh silicon-carbon battery, one of the largest ever in a mainstream smartphone. The phone also supports 66W fast wired charging, promising long endurance with quick top-ups.
Up front, the Magic 8 Lite features a large 6.79-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, offering a high screen-to-body ratio and extremely slim bezels. Honor is also advertising very high peak brightness for outdoor visibility.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, paired with 8GB RAM and up to 512GB storage, targeting the upper mid-range segment.
On the camera side, the Magic 8 Lite comes with a 108-megapixel primary rear sensor, assisted by a 5MP secondary lens, while the front houses a 16MP selfie camera.
Durability is another major selling point. The phone carries IP66, IP68, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance and includes Honor’s enhanced drop-protection design. Software-wise, it runs MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15.
The Honor Magic 8 Lite is launching in multiple color options, including Forest Green, Midnight Black, and Brown. Pricing and regional availability are expected to be announced soon.
