Samsung Announces Launch Date for Galaxy Z TriFold

Galaxy Z TriFold

Samsung has officially announced the launch date for its highly anticipated Galaxy Z TriFold, marking the company’s first commercial triple-folding smartphone. The device is set to debut at the next Galaxy Unpacked event, scheduled for early July 2025, alongside the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 lineup.

The Galaxy Z TriFold features Samsung’s new “Dual Axis Flex” hinge, allowing the display to fold in two directions—making it possible to switch between a compact phone form and a tablet-sized screen. Leaks suggest Samsung has been refining crease visibility and durability, aiming to outperform previous prototypes shown in earlier tech demos.

Expected specs include a large Flex AMOLED internal display, S-Pen support, and a multi-tasking system optimized for triple-segment layouts. Samsung is also rumored to equip the device with its next-generation Exynos / Snapdragon hybrid chipset, depending on the region.

While pricing hasn’t been confirmed, analysts expect it to sit above the Fold7 due to its complex hinge engineering.
