The upcoming Vivo S50 series is generating buzz ahead of its expected December 2025 launch in China, with leaks hinting at two models the standard Vivo S50 and a surprisingly powerful Vivo S50 Pro Mini. While early reports mistakenly mentioned an “S50 Pro,” credible leak sources now confirm only these two variants.
The regular Vivo S50 is rumoured to feature a 6.59-inch flat 1.5K OLED display and a triple-camera setup, including a periscope telephoto lens, a rare addition in this mid-range lineup. The front side may include a high-resolution 50MP selfie camera, positioning the S50 as a strong contender for portrait and social-media-oriented users.
The more interesting model appears to be the Vivo S50 Pro Mini, which is expected to bring high-end performance in a compact form. According to credible leaks, it may pack a 6.31-inch 1.5K OLED screen, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and a flagship-class chipset, possibly Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8-series or even the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. Other features tipped for the series include a metal frame, fast charging, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, and premium build quality.
