Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Design Rumors Hint at Major Redesign

The Samsung Galaxy S26 series design rumors are heating up, revealing what could be Samsung’s biggest visual overhaul in years. Leaked renders, dummy units, and insider reports point to slimmer bodies, new camera layouts, and even a MagSafe-like charging system.

According to several sources, the base Galaxy S26 will reportedly measure just 6.9mm thick, making it noticeably thinner than the Galaxy S25. The entire lineup  including the rumored Galaxy S26 Edge and Galaxy S26 Ultra  is expected to feature rounded display corners and ultra-thin bezels for a more immersive look.

Perhaps the most striking change appears on the S26 Edge, which could replace the “Plus” model entirely. Leaks suggest a horizontal camera bar spanning the rear, giving it a bold, iPhone-like appearance. Meanwhile, the standard S26 will stick to a familiar vertical layout, though with refreshed camera housing. The Ultra model may tone down its signature boxy edges, opting for a slightly curved frame for better grip.

Another major talking point is the introduction of Qi2 magnetic wireless charging, hinted by circular magnet markings on leaked dummy units. This would mark Samsung’s first step into magnet-based charging and accessories, allowing easier alignment on wireless pads and mounts, a move clearly inspired by Apple’s MagSafe system.

In terms of display, the S26 base variant could ship with a 6.3-inch flat panel, while bezels across all models are rumored to be thinner than ever before. Despite the slimmer frames, Samsung is reportedly working on optimizing internal space to fit larger batteries.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra will continue to lead the lineup with premium materials and an integrated S Pen slot, though its design might appear softer and more rounded than before. Early leaks also hint at uniform button placement and a consistent metal frame design across all models.

Launch timelines remain uncertain, but insiders expect the Galaxy S26 series to make its debut around February 2026. With these early leaks showcasing a sleeker, more refined approach, Samsung seems ready to bridge the gap between bold new aesthetics and familiar flagship DNA.
