24GB RAM Could Become Common in 2026 Flagships

24GB RAM

A growing number of leaks and industry chatter suggest that 24 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, once an extremely high-end memory option, is becoming more common in 2026 flagship smartphones from Chinese brands. This push toward higher RAM is widely attributed to the increasing demands of AI processing, large app workflows, and multitasking capabilities expected in the next wave of premium devices.

According to broader predictions from industry insiders, flagship Android phones expected in 2026 could increasingly adopt 24 GB of RAM alongside 1 TB of storage as manufacturers chase enhanced performance and AI readiness. This would be a sizable step up from current mainstream top-end models, which typically start at 12 GB or 16 GB in many markets.

Although official Geekbench entries confirming Realme GT 8 Pro or OnePlus Ace 5 Pro specifically with 24 GB have not yet been published in major tech sites, the broader expectation of 24 GB RAM on future Chinese flagships has been gaining traction among leakers and benchmark sightings. The trend has been highlighted previously as manufacturers experiment with larger memory capacities to support future-proof performance and advanced AI workloads.

Smartphones with larger RAM configurations have already been seen on other models as optional top-tier specs, and 24 GB RAM variants have appeared in various Geekbench leaks and historic listings indicating that vendors are comfortable pushing memory capacities higher as the premium segment evolves.
